The Skinny

The couple  could be any couple that you meet in your life with the exception that she is a wealthy.  Amy is cunningly smart and evil beyond belief but somehow I believed her. I had a difficult time feeling anything but contempt for Tom. I wanted Amy to win. I wanted Tom to suffer.

The characters came to life and I had several favorites and several that I really just hated. The plot had twists that certainly kept me wondering how far her evil scheme would go and I was not disappointed!  

Gone Girl is easy to read and it stayed with me after I finished the book.  I see a movie in this books future.
