No Worries

Standing in the surf, feeling the water rush in swirling, bubbling around my feet, feeling the pull of the water as the sand slips away from my sole.  I feel my worries slipping away like the sand until the urge to run and dive in head first is to hard to resist...there are no lines to cross, no gates to open only the sun, sand, and the salt I taste that is not my tears and I am not running from myself.

However, here in the mountains today we are in a polar vortex!  It is cold and snowy, I thought I would post some warm pictures!  I am enjoying the idea of renaming the days of the week...so Wednesday is now my no worries day.  I am not going to worry about the cold, snow, and snow days that the man child is racking up.  I am going to enjoy him and watch the goofy You Tube videos that he seems to enjoy so much...
because this is like standing in the sand.  Every day my time with him is slipping away and soon he will be gone off on his own run into the ocean of life.  So today I enjoyed sitting by the fire with him and laughing...  talking about the day he was born and what a sweet baby I was blessed with...Twice.

We listened to this CD today and I told G-Unit that  this was his song when he was a young'un.  I sang this to him every time he was going to sleep or nursing.  He said he loved this song and he never knew why!
